Our Signature Groovy Salad Mix captures the flavor of each season - it usually has at least five different ingredients depending upon what is growing at the time.  It can include a mix of sweet baby lettuce, arugula, slightly spicy mustard greens, pea shoots, and many other seasonal surprises!  It is slightly different every week, but is always light, crunchy & tasty and according to customer feedback, lasts for at least 2 weeks!

  • SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION

    This is a block of a custom number of weekly or biweekly orders of Groovy Mixed Salad Greens throughout the season running from 4/4/25 to 11/7/25.

    Choose either weekly or biweekly (every other week) subscriptions and 0.5lb or 1lb bags.

    Unless otherwise directed by you, your order will be packaged in returnable cotton bags  - see Keeping Your Greens Fresh Section for important storage info. 

    If you need to miss a week - please let us know in person or by email at least a week in advance, we can double up when sufficient is available or alternatively you can request that we donate the greens (or their equivalent value) to a local Food Bank.

    If we cannot fulfill your regular order we will let you know and you will be refunded. We reserve the right to substitute similar products from other local farms .

  • PACKAGING INFORMATION

    Unless otherwise directed by you, your greens will be packaged in reusable, returnable organic cotton bags.  And so long as you give the bag back at the end of the subscription period, there will be no charge, if you wish to keep it, there will be a $5 fee for each bag not returned.

    Cleanliness & Sanitation

    All packaging will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized prior to re-using.

  • KEEPING YOUR GREENS FRESH

    Assuming you can control yourself from munching them down as quick as Scooby Snacks, fresh leafy greens will keep up to two weeks if kept moist in an almost* airtight container in the fridge. 

     

    Organic Cotton Bags - we recommend either re-packaging your greens into an almost* airtight container or simply mist the cotton bag with water and place into an airtight container in the fridge.  Keep the bags moist by misting occasionally. Once your greens are finished, air out the bag and bring it back on your next visit and we will sanitize and wash them for reuse.

     

    ​* Almost airtight means that your greens still need some oxygen - we tested greens in an absolutely airtight silicone bag and the results were not good!  So a plastic or glass container (whatever you use to keep leftovers in) is fine, there are also purpose made greens keepers that work pretty well.

  • PICK-UP & DELIVERY INFORMATION

    Our Groovy Greens are harvested fresh each week!

    Pick up on Friday 4-6pm or Saturday 9:30am-11am*

    *If you cannot make the pick-up times, let us know and we will accomodate your needs as best we can. Delivery may be available, please text or call us to inquire.

    It is our mission to foster community and so encourage you to visit our farm to pick up your delicious greens between 4-6pm on Fridays or 9:30-11am on Saturdays. Maybe you'll stay for a chat & share some news with us or meet new and old friends whilst picking up :) 

  • FOOD SAFETY

    Food Safety and Sanitization

    We take food safety very seriously and have strict procedures in place for hand washing, tool and surface sanitizing during all parts of the growing, harvesting and packing process.

    Returnable Packaging

    All returned packaging will be washed and sanitized prior to re-use.

  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

    We want you to be exceedingly happy whilst munching on your Groovy Greens!  But if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, you can have a replacement from another week's harvest or we will refund your money. 

    You can return the greens to us and we will feed them to our worms!
